Room 5 Teachers - 2s and Young 3s Program

Jan | Lead Teacher
Jan attended Oxford College of Further Education in Oxford England where she received her Certificate in Nursery Nursing from the National Nursery Examination Board. She has also taken classes in working with children with special needs at Mission College and has a Child Development Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Jan has been teaching for 25 years - 20 years at Children's Corner. She currently works full time in our 2s and Young 3s program.

Josette | Assistant Teacher
Josette has her Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. She speaks 5 languages so is very helpful in transitioning young non-English speakers into our program. Josette joined Children?s Corner 8 years ago and works Monday - Friday 6 hours daily in our 2s and Young 3s program.

Fereshteh | Assistant Teacher
Fereshteh has been working in the ECE field since the 1990's (Boston, Los Angeles and northern California). Fereshteh speaks Farsi and English. She took her ECE classes at Chabot College and has been with Children's Corner since 2010.

Julie | Teacher
Julie's Early Childhood Classes are from DeAnza College and Mission College. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for 17 years - 10 years at Children?s Corner. Currently Julie works full time and works with the 2s and young 3s mid morning through the afternoon.
